Pitzer College requires all full-time first-year, 二年级学生, junior and senior students live on campus and enter into a residency agreement each academic year when enrolled at the College.

  • All first-year students live in the P.A.S. community in one of the three residence halls: Pitzer, Atherton or Sanborn.
  • Rooms are double occupancy, with two rooms sharing an adjoining vanity, bathroom and shower.

ZERO-SCAPE FOR ZERO ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

ABOUT 75% OF THE CAMPUS IS LANDSCAPED WITH NATIVE, DROUGHT-TOLERANT PLANTS.

  • Plants throughout campus are part of the John Rodman Arboretum. 气候适宜, 土生土长的加利福尼亚, drought-resistant plants and succulents dominate the landscape, 还有原产的石头.
  • The landscaping in front of Scott Hall began as a class called Ecological Landscaping. 学生 and faculty created six different ecosystems. The gardens are riparian, desert, chaparral, grassland, oak woodlands and coastal sage scrub.
  • The Outback Preserve on the north side of campus offers 3.4 acres of pathways through a rare ecosystem: alluvial sage scrub.
